I know you know about golden hour. Take photos within one hour after sunrise or before sunset. This gives you a super filtered, glowy, softer light.
Add in some flowy grass and a beautiful client, and you've got MAGIC.
This was Hadley's first professional photo shoot and she did soooo great! I always help pose my clients and tell them exactly what to do, but it was easy with Hadley - she was a natural!
I live, work, and thrive in downtown Tulsa, but I will always drive to the outskirts to find an unkempt field that will photograph well and let me show off some drama and personality.
And I'm pretty picky about the field I choose. Grass is boring. Tall, flowing grass that moves with the wind and graces the bottom of the frame? Yeah. Get me all up in the middle of that thing.
I try to frame my photos like it came straight from a film. I want to capture the feels of it all. I want to make more than just a picture. I want to create a moment.
While I am known for my senior portraits, younger teens are becoming one of my favorite ages to work with. They are often a little awkward and unsure of how impactful they are. They are finding themselves in this world and figuring out how badass they actually are. I love being able to show them a little glimpse of that.
So if you have a kid who isn't quite old enough for senior portraits but still wants the experience, I HIGHLY recommend it.
If you're in the Tulsa area and want some vibey, dramatic images for yourself, your tween/teen, or your senior pictures, I would LOVE to work with you!
I also do family portraits and branding sessions. I'm full-service, baby! :)
Check out more of my work on the full site and see if you think we're a good fit. If so, message meeeeee!
